Job Description
Sturdy Memorial Hospital's 14 bed ICU unit is looking for an experienced critical care RN for a 12 week night contract. CERNER experience a plus. Must have telemetry experience, BLS, and ACLS.
Medical patients with diagnosis such as alcohol withdrawal, acute respiratory distress, COPD, GI bleed, drug over dose, COVID. Occasional surgical (VATS)
ALS & BLS required!
Skills required:
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Management of dysrhythmias
Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring
Continuous IV sedation
Procedural Sedation Administration
ICU-14 beds
ICU patient population- some post-surgical (carotids, VATS, CEAs) medical- ARDS, vented, pressors, a-lines, chest tubes, etc.
Ratio 1:1 or 1:2
ICU is the code team and rapid response team
Intensivists during the day
NPs at night shift
