Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering compassionate, quality care that emphasizes customer and family satisfaction. The RN plays a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care in accordance with established standards and hospital policies. The RN is accountable for the caliber of nursing services provided and is committed to enhancing practice standards and the care environment while promoting outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
• Implement and evaluate patient care, ensuring adherence to professional nursing practices.
• Document all care and interventions accurately and timely.
• Promote a patient-centered care model that fosters exceptional experiences for patients and their families.
• Ensure high standards of practice by actively contributing to the improvement of nursing practices.
• Float to Med Surg as needed, demonstrating versatility in clinical skills.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of critical care and ICU experience.
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC).
• Experience and training in Med Surg and Telemetry.
• Proficiency in IV insertion and care.
• Experience with adult patient populations.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
• A temporary Minnesota nursing license will be accepted if a permanent application has been submitted.

Work Schedule:

• Shifts: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
