Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU).
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as cardiovascular surgery recovery, cardiogenic shock, and abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in cardiovascular critical care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting, specifically with fresh heart cases.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Proven travel experience in a similar role is required.
• Proficiency in using EPIC electronic health record system.
