ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care skills and be willing to float to different units as needed. This position requires a flexible schedule, including working every other weekend.

Shift Details

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

36 hours per week with 24 hours guaranteed

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Float to Med Surg/Tele units when required.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Utilize EPIC systems for documentation and patient care management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and hospital guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience.
• At least 3 years of ICU/CCU experience required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is mandatory.
• Travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Must possess a valid New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate.
• Must have current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a personal vehicle for transportation.

Additional Requirements

• Training in verbal de-escalation is required from approved organizations (Welle or CPI).
• COVID vaccinations are encouraged but not mandatory.
• Requested time off must be included during the application process; late requests will not be approved.

Dress Code

Personal scrubs of any color are allowed; no designs or cartoons. Hoodies are not permitted.
