Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 0730-1900, EVERY OTHER WEEKEND, FLOAT AS NEEDED
Requirements: 2 years of RN - Transplant experience
Travelers Only (Must be 50 miles from hospital location)
-Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
-American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.
-AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA approved equivalent is required.
General ICU w/CRRT (NxStage) Trauma 1, travel experience

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Transplant ICU is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires clinical competence and experience in the care and management of adult patients, particularly those in a Trauma 1 setting. The RN will demonstrate proficiency in delivering care aligned with the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
Required Qualifications:
- Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through education at an accredited School of Nursing.
- Associate's degree in nursing.
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.
- AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA approved equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- NxStage CRRT experience.
Additional Information:
- Trauma 1 experience required.
