ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in a fast-paced medical environment. This role involves providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shift Details

Night shifts: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
Day shifts: 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00)
Alternating shifts: The nurse may work several weeks on one shift before switching to the other.
Weekend rotations: Every other weekend

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in an ICU setting required.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Required skills: Medical ICU, Telemetry, ECMO, CRRT.
Licensure: A valid PA or Compact nursing license is required at the time of submission.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications are required.

Role Responsibilities

The ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

Providing safe and effective nursing care to critically ill patients.
Utilizing advanced medical equipment and technology.
Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to treatments.
Communicating effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Participating in patient care planning and advocating for patient needs.
