ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Critical Care and Step Down nursing, demonstrating exceptional patient care and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

  • Shift: 12 hours, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
  • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend, 36 hours
  • Call Requirements: Varies based on unit needs
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years
  • Float Requirements: Yes, between Medical Surgical Units or others as needed

Required Education & Certifications

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - preferred but not required

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 8
  • Patient Ratios: 1 to 2-3
  • EMR System: EPIC

Skills and Experience

  • Must Have Skills: Experience in ICU and Step Down nursing
  • Preferred Skillset: Experience with Pediatric patients - not required
  • Type of Patients: Critical Care and Step Down in nature

Work Environment

The role requires adaptability to work within a collaborative team, providing high-quality care to patients in a critical setting. A strong commitment to patient-centered care and effective communication is essential.
