This role involves self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance, passing a basic dysrhythmia test, and providing assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in coordination with the healthcare team.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; license/certificate verification; no minimum years of experience required.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, estimated 36 hours per week, with potential overtime.
  • Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, interacting effectively with patients and team members, and maintaining professional nursing standards.
  • Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance, with a dysrhythmia test out in the first week of assignment, which must be passed to work in ICU-CCU units.
  • Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience within the last 12 months in a similar unit required.
  • Schedule includes every other weekend rotation and every other holiday.
  • While not part of a regular call rotation, the traveler may be placed on call during periods of low census and should be able to respond and arrive within one hour if called.
