Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for delivering safe, competent, and quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and their families. The role involves assessing and evaluating patient care needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and caregivers, and managing assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. The nurse will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with institutional standards, and demonstrate professional development.

Required Qualifications:

• Active NYS RN License
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of post-open heart and cardiac care unit experience
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• 1 year of travel experience (required for travel positions, not for per diem)

• EPIC experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program

• Demonstrates patient-focused and cost-effective approaches to care
• Participates in shared decision-making through specialty practice councils and unit initiatives
• Encourages lifelong learning and professional development
