Job Summary:
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is available in a community hospital setting. This role involves providing critical care to adult patients with medical emergencies, post-surgical needs, respiratory failure, sepsis, and some pediatric cases. The position requires experienced and dedicated professionals to work night shifts every third weekend.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
  • Schedule: Nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse, at least 2 years of ICU experience, Epic electronic medical record system experience, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing critically ill adult patients, pediatric critical care experience, and familiarity with telestroke and neurology services.
  • Additional Information: The ICU has approximately 10 beds and cares for critically ill adult patients with conditions such as medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, and sepsis. The unit also manages some pediatric cases and stroke patients through certified telestroke services. The assignment duration is 8 weeks.
