Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent, continuous ICU nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Previous travel nurse experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active RN license in the state of assignment required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with medication scanning required
• Strong charting system experience required; Epic experience preferred
• Ability to manage dysrhythmias, arterial lines, central lines, vasoactive and cardiac drips, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, suctioning, and isolation precautions
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to meet scheduling needs, including weekend coverage
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond quickly to evolving clinical needs
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive infusions, arterial and central lines, and ventilatory support
• Administer medications accurately and support best practices with medication scanning workflows
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the charting system and uphold clinical standards
• Support unit flow by floating to other ICU locations when census or staffing needs require it
• Contribute to a professional, team-oriented environment that prioritizes patient safety and excellent outcomes
