ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for both seasoned professionals and first-time travelers looking to expand their skills in critical care.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify patient care plans.
Utilize advanced medical techniques and equipment, including ECMO and CRRT.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in patient care.
Participate in weekend coverage as required.

Shift Information

Scheduled shifts: 3 days per week (12-hour shifts).
Rotating day and night shifts (0645-1915 and 1845-0715).
Rotating schedule may vary; shift changes may occur after several weeks.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting is required.
Proficiency in medical ICU, telemetry, ECMO, and CRRT is essential.
Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required.
Must possess a valid PA or Compact nursing license at the time of application.
