ICU RN — Key Requirements

Shift: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM — Nights
 

Must Have

• Active Texas RN license — required before hire
• BLS — AHA or ARC
• ACLS — AHA or ARC
• Nursing diploma/degree from an accredited nursing program
• Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Cerner PowerChart experience preferred/used for inpatient units

Unit Details

• 32-bed Medical ICU
• 16-bed Surgical Trauma ICU
• ICU ratio: 1:2
• IMC ratio: 1:3
• Higher-acuity patients such as IABP, CRRT, and Impella: 1:1
• Staff includes Charge Nurse and Unit Clerk
• Possible floating to acute care or ED based on staffing needs
• Navy blue scrubs
