Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 13-week contract position
• 12-hour variable day/night shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Guaranteed hours are not applicable during orientation week
• Weekend requirement: 2 weekends out of 4 as needed; night shift weekends are Friday/Saturday, day shift weekends are Saturday/Sunday
• Holiday rotation required; observed holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
• Blackout RTO dates: December 20 through January 5; no more than 7 days of RTO will be accommodated
• Primary location is the MSICU unit
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview locations
• No on-call or back-up requirements; additional shifts may be available for sick call coverage
• Case mix includes medical and surgical patients such as joint replacements and general surgical patients
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; Med/Surg experience and travel experience required
• Must be competent in both ICU and Med/Surg settings
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC certifications required), Wisconsin RN license
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Scrub color: Dark blue
• Must live outside 50 miles from the facility
• Ideal candidate is a hard worker, resilient, manages change well, social, assertive, confident in skills, and a team player

This facility is a full-service community hospital offering a wide range of medical and surgical services, including an intensive care unit that manages both medical and surgical patients. The unit operates 11 dedicated beds and provides care for a diverse case mix including joint replacements and general surgical patients. The organization is part of a larger health system with multiple regional locations, supporting a collaborative and team-oriented care environment.
