Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU to join the critical care team .The ICU RN will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients while working closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.

• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment.

• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments as ordered.

• Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilators and other critical-care equipment.

• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to emergencies.

• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care.

• Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or a compact RN license.

• BLS certification required.

• ACLS certification required.

• Previous ICU/Critical Care nursing 2 years experience
