Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Portland area. This role involves providing advanced critical care for adult patients, with responsibilities including complex monitoring and life support management. The position requires float capabilities across units and adherence to established clinical protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active licensure in the state with a valid compact license, a minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience, and certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRNS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience charting in Epic electronic health record system, trauma care experience, and experience with complex patient interventions such as arterial lines, ventricular assist devices, and ECMO.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to meet unit needs.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent ICU experience and be comfortable managing critically ill adult patients with complex interventions, including ventilator management and invasive monitoring. The assignment involves working with interdisciplinary teams and following strict clinical protocols to deliver high-quality critical care.
