  • Schedule: Variable day/night rotations, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts

  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
  • Schedule Expectations: 3x12 shifts, every other weekend, holidays as needed, plus 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks
  • Assignment Length: 22 weeks
  • Start Date: October 5, 2026

Job Requirements

  • Active New York State Registered Nurse license
  • At least 1 year of ICU or acute care nursing experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required; AHA or RQI certifications accepted
  • Ability to obtain Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire
  • CPI certification within 90 days of hire
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Computer literacy and experience with electronic medical records preferred
  • Professional, patient-centered approach with the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based critical care nursing to adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients as appropriate to the unit
  • Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition in the ICU setting
  • Collaborate with physicians, providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective treatment plans
  • Administer medications, perform assessments, and document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the EMR
  • Support a healing environment by promoting dignity, respect, safety, and healthy relationships
  • Use sound clinical judgment and maintain calm, effective decision-making in a fast-paced acute care environment
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and provide dependable coverage across rotating shifts
