ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a medical intensive care unit (MICU). The ideal candidate will possess critical thinking skills, a strong clinical background, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
Monitor patient conditions, evaluating vital signs and lab results to make informed decisions regarding care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Educate patients and their families about care plans, medications, and health management.
Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Participate in the training and education of nursing staff and students.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Demonstrated experience in an ICU or related critical care setting.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations and perform under pressure.
