Job Summary
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duluth, MN. This position involves providing specialized critical care to patients within the ICU setting, supporting patient recovery and safety through comprehensive clinical interventions. The role requires rapidly adapting to fluctuating patient needs and working collaboratively within the healthcare team.
Job Details
- Certifications: MN RN License, BLS (AHA/ARC), ACLS (AHA/ARC), NIHSS required. TNCC and CCRN preferred. Must have ACLS at time of submission.
- Education: Associate Degree or Certificate.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-year acute care experience within critical care; preference for experience within the past 3 years.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Identifies patient condition and deviations, communicates with healthcare team, initiates discharge planning, supervises care of stroke and cardiac patients, reports abnormal diagnostic data, participates in nursing rounds, and selects appropriate supplies for patient care.
- Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate resilience, independence, and the ability to manage change effectively. Scrub colors are royal blue. Candidates with experience in colder climates are preferred, especially for winter start dates. The work involves providing culturally competent care appropriate for various age groups and clinical conditions.
