Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position in Lewiston, Idaho. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity, trauma level II environment. The ICU nurse will be responsible for delivering critical patient care, utilizing advanced skills in ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and sedation management to support patient recovery and well-being.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current Idaho Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU, surgical, medical, ventilator, sedation, cardiac, stroke, EKG/rhythm, and IV placement.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro, surgical, and medical patients, and proficiency with ventilator and sedation management.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical/Surgical units.
  • Additional Information: The unit has 9 beds with patient ratios of 2:1. The team utilizes the MEDITECH electronic health record system. The position is a replacement for permanent staff, starting on 09/07/2026.
