Job Summary

Job Details
- Position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions as per established standards.
- Requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, and documenting in line with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Must provide health teaching and health counseling, and support therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being, either directly or through supervision and delegation.
- Responsible for evaluating health status through ongoing data collection and assessment.
- Executes delegated medical functions, refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed, and reviews therapy and treatment plans.
- Uses available resources efficiently to promote optimal patient care.
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need.
- May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
- Required Skills & Experience: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school, BLS (American Heart Association), 1 year of experience in an ICU setting, and proficiency in health assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, and nursing care.
- Preferred Skills & Experience: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse and certification appropriate for ICU.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit current license and certifications as applicable for the role.
