GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Greenwood, South Carolina.

Opportunity:
CICU / Registered Nurse
Job Details:
• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Travel experience required
• Work setting: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) with float requirement to ICU and within organization as needed
• Patient ratios of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Self-scheduling
• 50-mile radius rule applies; locals accepted at local rate
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Preferred charting system: EPIC
• Must be licensed to practice in SC at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• 2 supervisory references required
• Keep requested time off to a minimum; no full calendar weeks off during assignment; expect to work some holidays
• Patient population: Adults
• Patient diagnoses include CT surgery, CABG, valve replacement, AAA, blunt/penetrating chest trauma, VATS, pacer, post cath, STEMI, EP studies, TAVR, mitral clips, EKOS, Inari, cardiac and respiratory arrest, medical and surgical overflow
• Special procedures include chest tube insertion, opening/cracking a chest at bedside, Swan-Ganz and hemodynamic interpretations
• Required skills include arterial line management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, CVVHD/CRRT, Impella management, IABP management, interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, PICC line management, pulmonary artery/Swan-Ganz monitoring, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, TAVR, ventilator management, and ventricular assist device (LVAD/RVAD)
• Special equipment includes Impella, IABP, chest tubes, transvenous and epicardial pacemakers, Baxter CVVHD machines, Swan-Ganz catheters, EKOS, and Zoll
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
