ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) Madison, WI
This position involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients within the ICU setting. The role offers opportunities to work across multiple ICU specialties, supporting the organizations commitment to excellence in patient care and safety.

Job Details

  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS*, TNCC*; WI RN license or compact RN license required
  • Education Requirements: 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to, with a minimum of 5 years of experience preferred
  • Location Requirements: Must be within 50 miles of the facility; locals not accepted
  • Years of Experience: 5.0
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Experience with multiple ICU units such as Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, and IMC/Progressive/General care populations
  • Must pass telemetry test prior to start with strict passing criteria, including Adult and Pediatric exams, with up to three attempts allowed
  • Additional clinical requirements include proficiency in managing Ports, Arterial lines, ECMO, ICU-specific procedures, and dysrhythmia interpretation
  • Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties if more than two are listed
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, as travelers are expected to float as needed
  • Submittal Requirements: Pass/Fail telemetry exam, references, and submission of a cardiac interpretation review course if necessary
