Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Job Description & Requirements

CRITICAL Operational & Float Details

• Total Care Environment: No CNAs and no Unit Secretaries. The RN is responsible for all direct patient care.
• Floating Policy: Travelers must be willing to float to all other ICUs and the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit.
• Weekend Commitment: Requires 4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling block.
• Travel Pairs: 5 openings across both days and nights.

• Dress Code: Navy Blue scrubs
• Charting System: Meditech

Unit Scope & Clinical Skillset

• Scale & Ratios: 36-bed ICU with 1:2 to 1:3 patient ratios.
• Unit Accolades: Daisy Team Award-winning department.
• Advanced Modalities: Must be comfortable with Target Temperature Management (Arctic Sun/Cooling blankets), CRRT, Rapid Infusers, and Pulmonary Artery (PA) catheters.
• Bedside Procedures: Intubations, chest tube insertions, bronchoscopies, EGDs, colonoscopies, and central line insertions.
• Drip Proficiencies: Must be highly proficient with vasoactive drips (Levophed, Epi, Neo, Dopamine, Dobutamine), sedation/paralytics (Propofol, Precedex, Fentanyl, Versed), and antiarrhythmics.

Requirements & Certifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an ICU-level unit.
• Required Certifications:
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
