The role requires neuro experience, and candidates should be prepared to work self-scheduled shifts with weekend rotations.

Job Details

  • Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and at least 1 year of ICU experience.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Experience in neuro-intensive care, managing specialized equipment such as Impella, ECMO, and IABP, is highly preferred.
  • Candidates must have a valid state license, with a compact license accepted for submission.
  • Floating between units may be required as needed to meet the organizations needs.
  • This position involves working in a 392-bed acute care hospital with a comprehensive stroke center designation, serving diverse patient diagnoses including medical, cardiac, and neuro cases.
  • The role includes adhering to hospital protocols, patient safety standards, and utilizing advanced neuro and critical care equipment.
  • Candidates should demonstrate experience with neuro procedures, ventilator management, arterial line management, and trauma care.
  • Submission requirements include two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years, and response to pre-submission screening questions about prior work at a similar facility.
