Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse in Las Vegas. This position involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a busy ICU setting. The role requires advanced clinical skills, experience with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring, and the ability to work nights on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 2 years of experience in ICU level units, experience with vents, high-flow oxygen, Bipap, Cpap, IV medications including Levophed, Epinephrine, Insulin, Neo synephrine, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Propofol, Precedex, fentanyl, versed, Amiodarone, Lidocaine, paralytics, and advanced skills such as targeted temperature management (TTM), hemodynamics, and PA catheter placement.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with bedside procedures including intubation, chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy, EGD, colonoscopy, wound debridement, and line insertion.
• Additional Information: The unit features ventilators, Art Sun devices, Rapid infusers, CRRT machines, IV med pumps, SCD machines, cooling blankets, and glucometers. Documentation is managed via Meditech. Float to other ICUs and IMC units may be required. The team values experienced staff with a minimum of two years in ICU settings.
