The healthcare facility in Antigo, Wisconsin, is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a rotating shift position. This assignment is ideal for experienced ICU RNs prepared to work in a dynamic environment. The role involves providing patient care for critically ill patients across a unit with two ICU beds and potential flex beds, with a focus on high-quality clinical outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Location: Antigo, WI
  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks, with an immediate start date of 08/17/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: WI RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC certifications). Minimum of 2+ years ICU experience required. Epic charting experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Shift Requirements: 12-hour shifts with fair distribution of days and nights.
  • Weekend/Holiday: Every weekend, and every other holiday as applicable.
  • Float: Float to similar units within the organization, including occasional med/surg patient care if no NICU patients are present and census is high. May float to other organization locations such as Merrill, Medford, Stanley, and Wausau.
  • On Call/Call Back: Available for low census hours; call back hours count toward unbillable hours. Call back minimum is 2 hours, with call back pay provided if called back to the facility.
  • Additional Information: During flu season, travelers declining COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required to wear masks at all times, with no exceptions. Scrubs are provided but personal scrubs are allowed.
