Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a multidisciplinary critical care unit requiring 2 years of acute care ICU experience and Cerner proficiency.

Details

  • Multidisciplinary ICU caring for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients
  • Utilizes advanced critical care technology including ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and IV infusion pumps
  • 3x12-hour day shifts per week
  • Cerner EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active RN license (SC or compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU acute care experience required within a US hospital setting
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA only)
  • CPI certification required (Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course)
  • BSN highly desired
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Two manager or supervisor references required, with at least one from the most recent employer within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Perform a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
