Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients with complex medical needs within a 33-bed unit. The position requires flexibility to float to telehealth floors when necessary and to manage patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, post-codes, post-surgical recovery, CVA with TPA, and other critical diagnoses. The schedule is night shifts, with four shifts required every four weeks, and a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Start Date: 08/10/2026
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
  • Education/Experience: Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience in a similar size and acuity setting; traveler experience required
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications (ACLS, BLS, NIHSS), at least 3 years of ICU experience, minimum of 0 years of additional experience, valid license to submit, location in Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • Float Requirements: Yes, float to telehealth floors when designated
  • EMR System: EPIC
  • Common Patient Types: Respiratory failure, post codes, open heart recovery, carotids, vascular surgery, GI bleeds, OD, CVA with TPA, IABP, Impella, SLED
  • Additional Notes: Must be team players, friendly, approachable, willing to float first to tele floors. Attendance and tardiness policies apply strictly, with progressive warnings leading to termination after multiple infractions. No trauma or hemorrhagic strokes accepted.
