Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a reputable healthcare organization located in Lake Havasu City. This role involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patient populations within a Level Trauma Level III hospital. The position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on residents' safety and well-being.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as an RN, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, and at least 2 years of ICU experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, especially with diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation (A. Fib) RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR.
  • Additional Information: Travel experience is preferred. The unit has 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Equipment includes Baxter pumps, and the Electronic Health Record system used is Medhost. The primary role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients, including those admitted through the Emergency Department. float assignments to Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding areas may be required as needed.
  • Start and End Dates: The assignment begins on 09/28/2026 and concludes on 01/03/2027.
  • Travel & Housing: Candidates must be located at least 60 miles away from the facility to be considered. Travel and housing options are available.
