Job Summary
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Nights Location: unspecified. This position involves providing care to critically ill adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients within the Intensive Care Unit. The RN will be responsible for managing complex patient conditions, administering specialized medications and procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Active RN license in Maryland or a Compact state; BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications; minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; experience managing patients with ventilators, pressors, sedation, and specialized equipment such as Vents, CRRT, IABP, Proning therapy; familiarity with Epic charting system preferred
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with all pressors and sedative drugs, pronation therapy, CRRT, IABP, and patient management of neuro and cardiac conditions
  • Additional Responsibilities: Care for patients with diagnoses including MI, chest pain, pneumonia, sepsis, ARDS, cardiogenic shock, OD, and post-cardiac cath; must be comfortable floating within ICU, CSU, and lower acuity units as needed
  • Certification and License Requirements: Maryland or Compact RN license, CPI certificate (online version by Calm Every Storm acceptable), BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (preferred)
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must be willing to accept the offer without an interview and comply with all onboarding and documentation deadlines.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
