Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for assignments in a trauma neuro and medical cardiac ICU setting. This role involves providing compassionate, patient-centered care to critically ill patients, including trauma, neuro, and cardiac patients, within a Level 1 trauma center environment.

- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) required
- Experience or Skills: A minimum of 3 years of recent ICU experience, including neuro or cardiovascular care, with ASIH Dysrhythmia Exam completed 24-48 hours prior to acceptance; pass/fail Simulation Lab on Day 1 of orientation.
- Responsibilities: Manage critically ill trauma, neuro, and cardiac patients, titrate drips such as Propofol, fentanyl, versed, precedex, and others. Ability to interpret telemetry strips required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Level 1 trauma or neuro ICU experience, prior work in similar size units, prior experience with neuro or cardiovascular patients preferred.
- Additional Information: Will validate skills for trauma, neuro, and specialty devices as needed. Will float between multiple ICUs, including Medical, Cardiac, and Overflow units. No additional call or standby required; up to 3 low census days may occur.
- Submission Requirements: Valid RN license required; candidates must be able to document minimum of 3 years ICU experience.
