Job Summary:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized care for critically ill patients within a high-acuity ICU setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex patient conditions, including post-surgical and cardiovascular cases, and possess the skills necessary for interpreting ABGs, troubleshooting ventilators, and administering critical drips.

Job Details:

  • Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications; minimum of 2 years experience in critical care nursing; licensed to submit credentials.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Must be able to interpret ABGs, titrate critical care drips such as pressors and sedatives, and troubleshoot ventilators including weaning procedures.
  • Skills/Experience: Experience with IABP, Prismaflex CRRT, and familiarity with various ventilator modes and monitoring equipment are preferred. Ability to perform rapid response and code blue procedures, and function effectively across ICU and PCU areas.
  • Additional Notes: Must complete a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing. Float rotation may be required, with opportunity to float between ICU, PCU, and other critical care areas as needed.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to undergo a hospital-specific orientation, including general hospital orientation and unit-specific onboarding.
