Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; minimum of 3 years of experience in ICU; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association; experience with enterprise central region float requirements between ICU, Beaufort, and Edgecombe is preferred; ability to float to inpatient units of skill level and below
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience in ICU settings; proficiency in managing trauma patients at Level 1 Trauma Centers; effective communication skills for coordinating with medical teams and handling emergent situations
  • Additional Information: The assignment starts on 10/05/2026 and concludes on 01/03/2027. Nurses will receive shift emails around 0400 or 1640 on the day of their shift to facilitate planning. The role includes floating to all inpatient units of skill level and below within the designated region, providing flexible support as needed.
