• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holiday

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of recent ICU RN experience
• Epic experience required
• ACLS and BLS (AHA only)
• Active Virginia RN license or Compact RN license
• Strong background in Critical Care Step-Down, Progressive Care, or other high-acuity nursing settings preferred
• Ability to float to Med Surg as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to critically ill and step-down patients
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and updates accurately in Epic
• Support a 1:4 patient ratio in a 4-bed unit
• Provide care for mostly adult and teen patients
• Adapt to occasional float assignments in Med Surg when needed
