ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

The PHBP ICU is a 16-bed, mixed-acuity unit catering to Critical Care, Stepdown, and Cardiac Telemetry patients, with nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:2 to 1:4. The team comprises experienced nurses, patient support technicians, and monitor technicians, all dedicated to delivering quality, patient-centered care across all three levels of patient acuity. This department presents numerous challenges, requires adaptability, and will cultivate diverse skill sets among staff members.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient-centered care to Critical Care, Stepdown, and Cardiac Telemetry patients.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer and monitor continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during care procedures.

Qualifications

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Two years of ICU experience is required.
• CCRN certification is preferred.

Work Schedule

This position is for night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30. Block schedules are not available.
