Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 1 year of recent ICU experience required; 2 years preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Strong critical care skills with experience supporting ventilated patients
• Experience with neuro patients strongly preferred
• Comfort working in both ICU and Med-Surg settings
• Ability to float to qualified units as needed
• Excellent teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, high-acuity nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes quickly, and support critical interventions
• Manage vent weaning, tracheostomy care, PEG support, wound care, and complex medical needs
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Support block scheduling, weekend coverage, and assigned float responsibilities as needed
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused care environment
