ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Arlington Heights, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be proficient in EPIC charting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 36-bed ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EPIC charting.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including safety and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois nursing license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of strong ICU experience.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.

Additional Information

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with potential weekend and holiday requirements.
• Floating to other units may be necessary, based on staffing needs.
• Patient-to-nurse ratio will be 1:2 or 2-3, depending on acuity levels.

Orientation

Orientation will take place every other Wednesday, with the next session scheduled for 8/26.
