Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, applying scientific nursing principles across a broad range of medical conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
  • Interact professionally with patients and visitors while maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice
  • Float to different units or a secondary campus as needed to support staffing requirements
  • Maintain current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — license in hand required at time of submittal
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the ICU/CCU service line
  • Must reside at least 150 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Candidates must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a documented plan in place to do so within that timeframe

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with Altera charting system preferred but not required
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred
