Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in a hospital setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Emphasis is placed on patient safety and adherence to safety policies and procedures.

- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS Certification prior to first shift, ACLS Certification prior to first shift, minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience
- Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, developing individualized care plans, participating in patient rehabilitation programs, initiating discharge planning, and documenting all patient interactions accurately.
- Provides supervision to ancillary nursing staff, delegates tasks appropriately, and ensures compliance with hospital and nursing policies.
- Maintains communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and clinical training needs.
- Assumes charge responsibility after orientation as requested and actively pursues continuing education for professional growth.
- Additional duties include prioritizing patient care activities, participating in team building, and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS.
