Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is seeking a qualified healthcare professional for a night shift in Anderson, Indiana. The role involves providing specialized care to critically ill adult patients in a 20-bed mixed ICU and step-down unit, with floating responsibilities to a sister unit. The position requires adherence to hospital protocols and a commitment to patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification(s), education degree(s), location, and at least 0 years of experience in intensive care nursing or related field
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ventilated patients, hemodynamic monitoring, or familiarity with ICU protocols are advantageous but not required
  • Additional Information: The unit cares for patients with severe respiratory failure, sepsis, neurologic conditions, metabolic disorders, and cardiac issues. Responsibilities include continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, management of invasive lines, administration of NIH and TNK therapy, mechanical ventilation, titrated IV medications, enteral and parenteral nutrition, and frequent lab and medication management.
