ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. This role includes 3x12 hour night shifts, with weekends and holidays required on a rotational basis.

Shift Details

• Shift: 3x12s, Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend
• Holiday Rotation: Yes

Patient Ratios

Patient-to-nurse ratio will be 1:4.

Floating Requirements

Travelers may be required to float between like units or sister facilities, similar to current staff nurses. Agency staff will float first.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years required.
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience.
• Licensure: SC license or Compact license must be obtained prior to the start of the assignment.
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
• Certifications Preferred: NIHSS
• Special Requirements: Must have ICU and/or Stepdown experience.

Miscellaneous Information

• Guaranteed Hours: The facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
• Local Radius: Accepting candidates from within a 60-mile radius; locals are not accepted.
• Requests for Time Off: All RTO must be included at the time of submission for approval based on facility needs.
