Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 25
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Staffing Description: Charge Nurse, Unit Secretary (7a-11p), no Technicians
• Type of Equipment: Alaris pumps, GE monitors
• Documentation System: MediTech
• Scheduling Requirements: Self-scheduling, work every 3rd weekend
• Floating Policy: Travelers/Agency staff will float first; floating primarily to telemetry for patient care, other areas as support.
• Patient Experience Requirements: AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You)

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Critical Care Experience: Essential
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are required
• Adaptability: Must be adaptable to changing environments
• Preferred Skills: Neuro and trauma experience is a plus
• Procedures Performed: Open heart recovery, bedside cardioversions, bronchoscopies, CRRT, Impella

Dress Code

The required uniform is Royal Blue scrubs.
