Job Details
- Position: Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit Medical)
- Location: San Antonio, TX
- Shift Time: Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license in Texas, BLS, and ACLS certifications, 2+ years of critical care experience, 2+ years of hospital/travel experience, and flexibility to float as needed
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Roto-prone, CRRT (Prismaflex), and Meditech system familiarity
- Responsibilities include managing complex clinical procedures such as central lines, bronchoscopy, bedside trachs, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies.
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Floating Policy: Staff may be floated to other ICU units within the healthcare network based on census needs.
- Additional requirements: Wear navy scrubs (white, navy, or black undershirts/jackets), maintain professional appearance per dress code, and adhere to body art, piercing, and hair policies.
