Schedule: Supervisory role with flexible assignment between House Supervisor and ICU Supervisor positions based on facility census

Highlights:

Requirements:
  • Active Texas RN license or multi-state compact license
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 4 years recent hospital experience in both RN House Supervisor and ICU Supervisor roles
  • Demonstrated expertise in emergency event leadership (Code Blue/Rapid Response)
  • Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, tracheostomy care, venipuncture, and IV initiation
  • Strong interpersonal skills, time management abilities, and organizational capabilities
Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day management and long-term strategic planning for patient care areas
  • Direct, develop, and support nursing staff through recruitment, orientation, training, and performance management
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Establish and maintain nursing standards, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements
  • Monitor quality outcomes and implement improvements to meet operational and financial standards
  • Create a compassionate care environment providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support
  • Ensure safe working conditions through infection control protocols and medication administration standards
  • Manage supplies inventory, equipment maintenance, and departmental documentation
