**Exciting Opportunity: RN House Supervisor (Nights) at Los Alamos Medical Center**
**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse, House Supervisor
- **Location:** Los Alamos, NM
- **Shift:** Night (6:30 PM - 6:00 AM)
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours
- **Weekend Requirements:** Minimum of 4 shifts per month
- **Call Requirements:** None
- **Experience Required:** 4 years
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide after-hours leadership to nursing staff
- Serve as a resource person for clinical staff and assist in patient care
- Ensure overall quality of patient care in the facility
- Report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer
- Float to assist in all units as needed
**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 10 bed ED, 15 bed MS, 4 bed ICU
- **Patient Ratios:** MS 5:1; ICU 2:1
- **Patient Population:** Adults and Geriatric; ED includes diverse age groups from neonates to older adults
- **Equipment and EHR:** Utilize Medhost/Medhost EDIS
**Qualifications:**
- **Required Certifications:**
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS certification
- **Education:**
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- **Must Have Skills/Experience:**
- Proficient in caring for ICU/ED patients
- Ability to assist with Medical-Surgical cases
- Strong critical thinking skills and capacity to function in high-pressure environments

- **Unacceptable Attire:** Open-toed shoes, artificial nails, unkempt appearance
