Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN Hospice for a travel nursing job in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Primary Registered Nurse (RN) - Community Hospice
As a Primary Registered Nurse in Community Hospice, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate care to patients and families, often being referred to as their “angels.” This role transcends traditional nursing; it is a calling where you can reconnect with the fundamental reasons for becoming a nurse. Here, you will find fulfillment in the profound impact your care has on others.
In this position, you will utilize your strong clinical skills as well as your ability to teach and guide patients in identifying their personal goals of care. Your expertise will help caregivers feel empowered in their role, assisting them in providing care for their loved ones. As a generalist in all diseases and a specialist in symptom management, excellence in assessment and critical thinking is essential.
As a Primary RN, you will manage an assigned caseload of patients while leading an interdisciplinary team dedicated to their care. Care will be provided in various settings, including private homes, nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living facilities.
This role offers a supportive environment that promotes personalized care, allowing you to thrive as a hospice nurse.
Holiday coverage is required, ensuring continuity of care for patients during important times of the year.
