Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) – Days | California

We are seeking an experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated home health team in California. This is a 13-week travel contract with an immediate start, offering a consistent weekday schedule, mileage reimbursement, and the opportunity to extend.

Position Details:

Start Date: ASAP (new starts available every Monday)
13-week contract
40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: Days (8:00 AM–5:00 PM; patient visits typically begin between 9:00–10:00 AM)
No on-call requirement
Extension opportunities available
RTO accepted

Requirements:

Active California RN license
BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
At least 1 year of recent Home Health experience
Proficiency with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and OASIS documentation is required (training is not available)

Responsibilities:

Provide skilled nursing care to a primarily geriatric patient population in the home setting
Manage an average caseload of 6 patient visits per day
Complete 25–30 productivity points daily
Review assigned patient schedule the evening before and contact patients to confirm visit times
Accurately document all patient care using Homecare Homebase and OASIS

Additional Information:

Mileage reimbursement provided for patient visits
Stable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or on-call responsibilities
