Shifts: M-F 8am-5pm, On Call M-Thu 5pm-8am (once every three weeks)

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Home Health- Observe, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing support for individuals in a community or small facility setting
- Work with health professionals to plan and evaluate health programs and services
- Coordinate communications and actions regarding health and safety supports
- Manage medications as prescribed, ensuring compliance with relevant policies
- Report patient progress and changes to the physician as necessary
- Complete relevant nursing documentation
- Oversee disease prevention measures, including maintenance of cleanliness standards
- Supervise licensed practical and vocational nurses
- Schedule and follow up on health-related appointments
- Provide training for new employees and ongoing certifications for staff
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Home Health- Valid GA License (Compact Licenses accepted)
- Proficiency in HCHB and OASIS
- Experience with Wound Vacs in home care settings
