Job Title: Clinical Nurse I

Hours per Shift: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Experience: Minimum of two years of acute clinical nursing experience; clinical home health care experience is required. Hospice experience is preferred.
License: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Certifications: Current BLS certification.
Must-Have:
- Completion of an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher education.
- Licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order.
Description:
The Clinical Nurse I role provides direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act to assigned patients in the Home Health and/or Hospice setting.
The nurse collaborates with other disciplines of the health care team to ensure the delivery of safe, timely, and appropriate quality patient care.
Responsibilities include providing physical assessments, IV infusion, nursing interventions, pain management, medication administration, specimen collection, meeting nutritional needs, and teaching and discharge needs of the assigned patients.
Utilizes the nursing process based on evidence-based best practices to meet patient care needs.
Evaluates and adjusts the nursing care process as necessary and confers with appropriate resource personnel when making ethical, legal, or medical decisions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Home visits are required.
Local candidates preferred.
